Dr Adrian Goudie
Adrian is an emergency physician at Fremantle Hospital and is chair of the Ultrasound Subcommittee of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. He began learning ultrasound and echocardiography whilst working at St Thomas’ Hospital in London and completed his DDU in general ultrasound after returning to Australia. In addition to believing that ultrasound will become a ubiquitous tool for all clinicians, he actually finds the physics of ultrasound fascinating. He has recently been elected the President of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine.
Dr James Rippey
James is an emergency physician at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women, and an Associate Professor with the University of Western Australia. He began learning ultrasound at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital in the UK, completing his DDU on return to Australia. He has been involved in ultrasound training in the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, and Australasia. As well as general clinical ultrasound and emergency echocardiography, the use of ultrasound in early pregnancy is a major interest. His love of ultrasound and his enthusiasm for teaching are a great attraction to our courses.
Prof Greg Sweetman
